York Snickelway Pots

Medieval cities are often stuffed full of these little cut-throughs. In York we call them snickelways (snickets/ginnels/alleyways) and I use them all the time.

As part of a ceramics project looking at York stories, I used these passageways as inspiration for these Snickelway Pots. Interesting on their own but even better when you can look through a few to the other world on the other side.
