I mainly work in wheel-thrown porcelain. My pieces explore the contrasts between this silky, pure clay and more earthy decorations, with many designs featuring more obscure UK species.  

I’ve always been interested in UK natural history. You don’t have to be in a tropical rainforest to experience beauty, drama and incredible wildlife stories. I love adding these to my pieces, and I’m particularly keen on accurately depicting them.

I’m currently studying ceramics at York College of Art and once studied biology at the University of Bristol. I live and work in York, UK.
